About AIMED & The Creativity and Madness Conferences:
Aimed, The American Institute for Medical Education, was founded in 1982 to provide the best quality and most interesting continuing education possible to physicians, social workers, nurses, psychologists, marriage and family therapists.
Who should attend the Conferences?
We welcome everyone who is interested in the psychology of artists and the creative process and Women of Resilience to register and attend. Our speakers do not typically use ultra psychoanalytic or psychological jargon. They present the concepts and theories in a manner that is comprehensive and understandable by the health care professional as well as the intelligent lay person.
We have held over 120 conferences throughout the world—in Santa Fe, San Francisco, New York, Hawaii, all of the major cities in Europe, as well as in South America, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Bali, and China. We currently plan 4 or 5 conferences a year. MDs, PhDs, Social Workers, MFTs, and others obtain continuing education hours by attending our conferences.
The Mary Lou Panter Scholarship This is offered once a year for the Creativity and Madness Conference (applications being accepted for July 30-August 3, 2018)
